Gartner Data Center conference

The Gartner Data Center conference has been a major focus for the past few weeks. Held last week, CPSD had a successful representation with 8 analyst 1x1 meetings that focused on our portfolio and an executive lunch. The emphasis by Gartner on CI / HCI and Hybrid cloud was obvious and in full force. There were several presentations on HCI and were well represented. During these presentations Gartner often does ‘live audience polling”. In several of these poles Dell was identified as a leader in HCI and a vendor that a large percentage of customers would consider for their next HCI acquisition. Also, the concept of hybrid cloud, as an alternative to public cloud, was widely featured in Gartner content and customer polling results.
